Railways and Heritage Railways news. 24-10-2023.

Afternoon,

Some news about the new north Coast Railway Line Proposal,

These two Photos were taken at Wauchope, on Sunday evening the 22nd of October 2023.

Talking to some people last week, about my Idea for a New Railway Line from Tweed Heads to Woolgoolga, one was from Brisbane the other from Harrington, and, they both said it would be a good Idea.The Brisbane guy said a Tram or Bus would be good from the Chinderah Transport interchange, which could meet up with the Gold Coast Airport and the tram at South Broadbeach. Even tho it may sound like Pie in the Sky stuff, seems to me it could have merit. we wait for more info from Councils, State Government and Federal Government.

Vintage Rail Journeys were also at the Wauchope Railway Station on Sunday Evening, and the Train was Stabled further North on Monday the 23rd of October 2023.
